How Wholesale Voice works for VBX Telecom
Issued by: VBX Telecom/u>

[Johannesburg, 16 March 2010] -
One of our products, Wholesale Voice, is designed to help com

We asked Dave Miller, Chief Operating Officer of VBX Telecom, about his experiences:

VBX is an open source VOIP PBX business focussed on multi-branch com

In addition to the multi-branch environment, VBX has found the call centre industry to be our biggest growth sector. Call centre functionality comes standard in the VBX, so customers no longer need to purchase expensive additional hardware.

MWEB wholesale voice allows us far greater control over our account and the service we provide our customers. The largest source of cost saving comes from inter-branch calling which, using this system, becomes free. Also, we are an MWEB Business Partner and consequently have direct access to technical resources whenever necessary.

Wholesale voice allows VBX to earn revenue from a service that customers require to fully benefit from the purchase of our equipment. It also means that VBX is able to close the loop and provide a complete VOIP offering. MWEB's management portal is very user friendly and creating new accounts is intuitive.

Our customers have one point of contact for any voice-related issues. They're able to focus on what they do best and leave the voice to voice specialists. The remote support capabilities of a software-based PBX, coupled with the user-friendly wholesale voice portal, means the time taken to resolve problems is a fraction of what it used to take.

Marnell Dickson of LeMark states: “We have many business partners, like universities, and I see a great deal of value in placing telephone extensions at the offices of these partners, thus enabling free communication between us and our partners.”

Miller says VBX's South African developed product provides a cost-effective VOIP solution, and he is confident that 2010 will see many com
